1. What are cookies?

2. How do we use cookies?

Like most online services, this website uses first-party and third-party cookies for a number of purposes. First-party cookies are mostly necessary for the website to function correctly and do not collect any personal data. Third-party cookies are used mainly to understand how the website performs, how you interact with it, and – with your consent – to measure marketing campaigns.

3. What types of cookies do we use?

  • Strictly necessary: absolutely required for the website to function correctly. These provide basic functionality and security. Always on.
  • Analytics: help us understand how visitors interact with the website: number of visitors, which pages are useful, traffic sources. Set only with your consent.
  • Marketing: used to measure and personalise marketing campaigns. These cookies may track visitors across websites. Off unless you opt in.

4. How can you change your cookie preferences?

A consent banner is shown on your first visit. You can manage your preferences by clicking “Cookie settings” in the page footer and switching categories on or off as you prefer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

In addition, different browsers provide different methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Switching the marketing category back off also deletes the marketing cookies listed below.

Marketing cookies are set only after you opt in. Consenting to marketing loads the HubSpot tracking script, and HubSpot in turn loads the AddSecure Group’s advertising pixels (Google Ads and Meta), which is why their cookies are listed here as well. Consenting to analytics additionally loads Microsoft Clarity, which records how the page is used (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement); text typed into forms is masked. Consenting to marketing also loads the Leadfeeder script, which attributes the visit to a company – not to you as an individual – based on the IP address. Before you make a choice, the Google Tag Manager container itself is loaded, but every tag inside it is held in a fully denied state (Google Consent Mode v2), so no analytics or marketing cookies are set; the HubSpot, Clarity, Leadfeeder and advertising scripts are not loaded at all. Legacy Google Analytics cookies (_gid, _gat) are not set by our current configuration, but are deleted along with the others if a browser still holds them.

This website also uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which are cookieless and do not identify you as an individual. They are not listed in the table above because they set no cookie.

6. Cookie providers

Google (Tag Manager, Analytics 4, Ads)

Use: we use Google Tag Manager to manage tags, Google Analytics 4 for website statistics, and Google Ads for advertising measurement (loaded via the HubSpot ads pixel).

HubSpot

Use: we use HubSpot as our CRM and for marketing automation. It links an enquiry to the visit it came from.

Meta (Facebook)

Use: we use the Meta pixel for advertising purposes. It is loaded by the HubSpot ads pixel and receives hubspotutk as an identifier.

Microsoft Clarity

Use: we use Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps that show how visitors use the website. It loads only after analytics consent; text you type into forms is masked before it reaches Microsoft.

Leadfeeder (Dealfront)

Use: we use Leadfeeder to attribute a visit to a company based on the IP address, for B2B sales purposes. It identifies organisations, not individuals, and loads only after marketing consent.

Vercel: no cookies

Use: we use Vercel for website hosting and for cookieless analytics (Web Analytics, Speed Insights). Vercel sets no cookies and does not identify you as an individual, so this processing is not subject to your cookie choice; it is listed here for completeness.

7. Recipients and transfers outside the EU/EEA

Data collected through analytics and marketing cookies is disclosed to Google, HubSpot, Meta, Microsoft (Clarity) and Dealfront (Leadfeeder) only with your consent. Vercel processes data as our hosting provider irrespective of your cookie choice, since operating the website does not depend on it. We strive to process data primarily within the EU/EEA; where a transfer outside the EU/EEA occurs, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
