Remote tachograph download, no trip to base.
Remote tachograph download pulls driver-card and mass-memory files over the air. One company card serves the whole fleet, and *.DDD files from every vehicle are one click away. Vehicles keep driving; the files arrive on time.
One company card. Every DDD file on time.
The system downloads vehicle mass memory and driver-card data without the vehicle ever visiting the depot. A single company card kept at the office handles the entire fleet, and downloads run automatically, with no driving out to the vehicle, no pulling it off a job, no manual steps to forget. Files are archived as they arrive, so records stay complete and audits stop being a scramble. The module is part of the frameLOGIC fleet management platform; setup is covered in the remote DDD download guide.

Frequently asked questions
- 01
How does remote tachograph file download work?
The company card stays at the office. The telematics unit in the vehicle authenticates against it remotely, downloads driver-card and mass-memory data, and sends the *.DDD files to the platform, where they are archived automatically. The setup guide walks through activation step by step.
- 02
Do vehicles have to return to base for the download?
No. That is the point of the module: downloads run wherever the vehicle is working, so there are no trips to the vehicle, no recalls to the depot, and no revenue lost to a truck standing idle for an administrative task.
- 03
How is tachograph memory downloaded on time for every vehicle?
One company card serves the whole fleet, and files from all vehicles can be fetched with a single click or on an automatic schedule. That keeps driver-card and mass-memory files arriving on time, without anyone chasing individual trucks.
- 04
What does the driver working time analysis cover?
Driving, breaks, and rests in continuous, daily, weekly, and two-weekly views, with a 29-day analytical period as defined by Regulation (EC) 561/2006. The system shows live advice to dispatchers and drivers and calculates potential penalties for the last 29 days using the tariff of the country the vehicle is in.
